Thanksgiving-All-Year-Round Chicken Soup


Ingredients

• 1 large package boneless chicken breasts,
• 1/2 cup chopped onion
• 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
• 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• dash ground allspice
• 1 cup orange juice
• 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
• 1 tablespoon Brown sugar

Directions

Put all ingredients in a large soup pot except the cranberries. Bring to boil, then cook on a medium simmer, stirring every 15 minutes. Cook for 1 ½ hours. Add cranberries. Simmer on low for another 15 minutes

Serves three to four people
